What this sample shows.

Independent demonstration of Flint, an open-source charting library. Not commissioned by Microsoft or Flint. No affiliation, endorsement, client testimonial or measured commercial result is implied.

Actual product, edited sequence

Captured from Flint’s public gallery on October 28, 2026. The Waterfall example was opened, Values was toggled and the backend changed from Vega-Lite to ECharts. The film is a 42-second edited sequence of these genuine screen captures, with enlarged crops, small editorial camera moves and deterministic titles. It is not a continuous recording, an AI-agent benchmark or proof of automated chart creation.

The numbers belong to an illustrative gallery example. They are not verified business performance. The two backends visibly differ in styling and axes; this sample does not claim pixel-identical output. No product output, metrics or social posts were fabricated.

Only the chart interface and specification are used; no third-party portraits, music or customer data. Futurefield’s own FF branding and original editorial composition. Roboto Condensed is used under the SIL Open Font License. No trademark endorsement is asserted.

Production disclosure

An AI agent selected the workflow, operated the real browser controls, wrote the copy, chose crops, scripted typesetting and motion, and reviewed the output. No owner filming, human voice talent, human editor or external production crew participated. Human creative acceptance remains pending. This is agent-assisted, manually directed production, not evidence that Futurefield’s unattended newsroom generated the work. No paid model calls or new paid assets were used.

English is the base sample. The Spanish website explains the same sample, whose on-screen text remains English; no Spanish localization is represented as included in the pilot price.

Caption draft

One chart idea, two rendering engines. This independent Flint demonstration follows a real gallery example from its specification to visible value labels, then switches from Vega-Lite to ECharts. The result changes with the renderer, so checking the actual output matters. The chart uses illustrative gallery data, not reported business results. Edited screen captures; no affiliation or endorsement. Explore the open-source project at microsoft.github.io/flint-chart. Flint © Microsoft Corporation, MIT license. Production: Futurefield Studio.
